As I approach my 40s, I’ve come to realize that while life is good in many ways, I always feel like something’s missing. For as long as I can remember, I’ve dreamed of working for myself, building something I could truly call my own. But the comfort and security of a stable job have often held me back. And let’s face it, being a single mom to two incredible little girls makes financial security a top priority!

That’s when I thought, why not try a side hustle? The idea: start something on the side that—if all goes well—might one day grow into a full-time gig. Of course, my ever-cynical brother chimed in, “Myriam, come on, all these influencers promising $5,000 a month from side hustles? Total nonsense.”

It got me thinking: is it really nonsense? I honestly don’t know… but I want to find out.
